Most records in Pocket have a Notes & Activities tab. Anything you add there shows on the same record in Loop, so the whole office can see it.
Where to find it
The Notes & Activities tab is on:
- sales and lettings properties
- viewings and appraisals
- offers and lettings applications
- lettings inspections
- enquiries
- buying and renting profiles
A person's own record doesn't have one. To add a note about a buyer or renter, open their buying or renting profile.
Reading notes and activities
The tab is split into three sections. Tap a heading to open or close it:
- Pinned: important notes pinned to the top.
- Planned: activities that haven't been done yet. Late ones show Overdue.
- Done: all notes, and activities that have been completed. Completed activities are green.
The number in brackets shows how many items each section has. A pinned note shows under both Pinned and Done.
To find something, type in Search notes & activity.
Adding a note
- Tap the + button.
- Under Notes, tap Note.
- Type your note.
- To pin it, tap the pin at the top left.
- Tap Done.
Notes are plain text. You can't attach photos or files to a note. To add photos to a property, see Adding photos to a property.
Adding a task, call or meeting
- Tap the + button.
- Under Activities, tap Task, Call or Meeting.
- Fill in the form and tap Save.
The activity is linked to the record you started from. It also appears in the diary of whoever it's assigned to. For help with the form, see Adding a task, call, meeting or custom appointment.
Changing or deleting a note
Tap a note, or its … button, to open More Detail:
- Pin Note or Unpin Note
- Update Note: change the text, then tap Done
- Delete Note
Delete Note deletes straight away. Pocket doesn't ask you to confirm.
If a note was written in Loop with formatting, such as bold text or bullet points, updating it in Pocket removes the formatting. Edit formatted notes in Loop instead.
Changing an activity
Tap an activity to open it, or tap its … button for a quick menu:
- Mark as Done or Mark as Not Done
- Delete: this deletes straight away, without asking you to confirm.
See Editing, completing and deleting activities.
