Signing in
- Open Loop Pocket.
- On the Let's get you signed in screen, tap Sign In.
- Loop's sign-in page opens. Enter your Loop email address and password.
- Pocket shows Signing you in while it checks your details, then opens your Agenda.
After that, Pocket keeps you signed in, so you won't normally need to sign in again.
Signing out
- On the Agenda tab, tap your photo or initials in the top right.
- Tap the gear icon in the top right to open Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Sign Out.
Pocket signs you out straight away, without asking you to confirm. It also clears everything it had stored on the phone, so the next person to sign in won't see any of your data.
Handing your phone to someone else
Signing out doesn't stop notifications. The phone keeps getting your team's Pocket notifications after you sign out. Before you hand a phone on, do one of these:
- In Settings, turn off all four notifications, then sign out.
- Delete Pocket from the phone.
If you're asked to sign in again
Pocket renews your sign-in in the background. If it can't, it signs you out and shows the sign-in screen. This happens if:
- you open Pocket with no signal. It can't check your sign-in, so it signs you out.
- you lose signal just as Pocket needs to renew your sign-in
- your Loop password has changed
- your Loop user has been switched off
Sign in again once you have signal. If your details aren't accepted, speak to your agency's Loop administrator.
Tip: if you're heading somewhere with poor signal, such as a basement flat or a rural property, open Pocket before you go and leave it open in the background. Opening it from scratch with no signal signs you out.
If sign-in seems stuck
If the screen stays on Signing you in for more than a few seconds, close Pocket fully and open it again. This can happen if you close the sign-in page before you've finished.
- iPhone: swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause, then swipe Pocket up and away.
- Android: open your recent apps and swipe Pocket away.
Keeping your account safe
Pocket shows client contact details, key information and alarm codes. Use a passcode, fingerprint or Face ID on your phone, and sign out of Pocket if your phone is lost or you leave the agency.
