The People tab
The People tab lists the buyers, sellers, renters and landlords at your agency. The most recently updated people come first.
- Type in Search people to find someone by name, email address, phone number or home address.
- Tap a filter to narrow the list: All, Buyers or Sellers. With the Lettings role you'll also see Renters and Landlords.
- Scroll down to load more.
Each person shows their name, phone number, email address and a label for each role they have: BUYER, SELLER, RENTER or LANDLORD.
A person's record
Tap a person to open their record. Their name, contact details and roles are at the top. Below that is a section for each kind of profile they have.
Selling Profile(s): the properties they're selling. Tap one to open the property.
Buying Profile(s): what they're looking for:
- property types and areas
- minimum bedrooms and floor area
- their maximum price
- their Proceedability: Financial Position, Selling Position, Mortgage Position and Purchase Reason. These show Unknown where they haven't been recorded.
Tap the card to open the full buying profile.
Renting Profile(s): what they're looking to rent, with their maximum rent. Tap to open the full renting profile.
Landlord Profile(s): the properties they let through you. Tap one to open the property.
Contacting someone
The buttons at the bottom of the record let you:
- call the person
- send them a text message
- email them
Each button only appears if Loop has that detail. They open your phone's own phone, messages and email apps.
Calls and texts made this way aren't recorded in Loop automatically. Afterwards, add a note or a Call activity on their profile or the property. See Notes and activities on a record.
Notes about a person
The person record doesn't have its own notes. To see or add notes, open their buying or renting profile, or the property. See Buying and renting profiles.
Adding or changing people
You can't add or edit people from the People tab. In Pocket you can:
- add a buyer or renter while booking a viewing. See Booking a sales viewing and Booking a lettings viewing.
- add a seller or landlord while booking an appraisal. See Booking a sales or lettings appraisal.
To change someone's details, add a new profile or merge duplicate records, use Loop.
