One search box finds people, sales and lettings properties, and appraisals.
Searching
- On the Agenda tab, tap Search People & Properties at the top. If you've scrolled down, tap the magnifying glass next to your photo instead.
- Start typing. You can search by:
- a person's name, email address or phone number. For a phone number, the last few digits are enough.
- a person's home address or postcode
- a property's address
- Results appear as you type, with the best matches first. Small typing mistakes are usually forgiven.
Tap Cancel to go back to the Agenda.
Narrowing your results
Once you've typed something, filter buttons appear under the search box:
All · Properties · Appraisals · Buyers · Sellers · Renters · Landlords
Tap one to show only that kind of result. Your choice stays while you carry on typing. To clear both the search and the filter, tap the × in the search box.
Reading the results
People show:
- their name
- their email address, or their phone number if there's no email
- a label saying what they are, such as Buyer. Someone with more than one role shows Multiple profile.
Properties and appraisals show:
- a photo
- the property type and address
- the status. Appraisals show Being appraised.
- the price, or the rent with how often it's paid, such as PCM
- bedrooms, bathrooms and floor area
Results load 20 at a time. Scroll down for more.
Opening a result
Tap a result to open it:
- a person opens their record
- a property opens the property record
- an appraisal opens the appraisal
If you can't find something
- No results for "…" means nothing matched. Check the spelling, or try fewer words, part of the address, or the last few digits of a phone number.
- If a filter is on, the message names it, for example No buyers for "…". Tap All to search everything.
- If the search fails, tap Try again.
Searching within a tab
The Properties and People tabs have their own search boxes. These only search that tab's list, and they work alongside that tab's filters. See Finding properties and Finding people and viewing a person's record.
