The Enquiries tab shows new leads from the property portals, your website and other sources. You can pick them up and respond while you're out.
Seller, buyer and renter enquiries
Use the toggle at the top to switch between Seller Enquiries, Buyer Enquiries and Renter Enquiries.
Each enquiry card shows:
- the agent who has claimed it, or - - if nobody has yet
- the type of enquiry
- where it came from. Rightmove, Zoopla and OnTheMarket show their logos, and enquiries from your website show your agency's logo. Others show a name, such as LOOP DIRECT ENTRY, MATCHING, VALPAL or REFERRAL.
- the enquirer's name
- when it arrived, for example (3 hours ago)
- the property address
- a coloured edge: green if the enquiry is open, red if it's closed
Pull down to refresh the list.
Sorting, searching and filtering
Use the icons at the top:
- Arrow: switch between oldest first and newest first. The list opens with the oldest first.
- Magnifying glass: search the list you're looking at by name, address or claiming agent. It doesn't search email addresses or phone numbers.
- Filter: open Filters.
Search only looks in the list on screen. To find a closed enquiry, switch the status filter to Closed first.
In Filters you can choose:
- Team: show enquiries for a team, which is usually a branch. Open a team to pick individual agents. Picking an agent shows only enquiries that agent has claimed, so unclaimed enquiries are hidden.
- Status: Open or Closed. Open means not dealt with yet. Closed is everything else, including enquiries already dealt with in Loop, for example where a viewing has been booked. The list starts on Open. Tap Reset to see both.
- Source: Rightmove, Zoopla, On the Market, Website, Loop, Matching, Valpal and Referral Network.
Tap Apply to use your filters. They apply to all three lists.
Opening an enquiry
Tap an enquiry to open it. It has three tabs: Details, Notes & Activities and System Log.
The Details tab shows:
- where the enquiry came from, and whether it's Open or Closed
- Date received and From
- Telephone: tap to call
- Email: tap to email
- Address: tap to open it in Google Maps or Apple Maps
- Comment, and whether they have a property to sell or rent and want financial advice
- Auto Responder Answers, if they answered your auto-responder's questions
Claiming an enquiry
Tap Claim to take the enquiry on. You'll see Enquiry claimed successfully! and the button changes to Claimed. Your colleagues can see you've claimed it.
Check who has claimed it first. If a colleague has already claimed the enquiry, tapping Claim takes it from them and gives it to you. Loop adds a note saying who reassigned it. Speak to your colleague before you claim it.
Claiming a closed enquiry assigns it to you, but it stays closed.
Following up
From the Details tab you can call or email the enquirer straight away. Then:
- record the call or email on the Notes & Activities tab. See Notes and activities on a record.
- book a viewing from the Agenda. You can add a new buyer or renter as you book. See Booking a sales viewing.
- book an appraisal from the Agenda. You can add a new seller or landlord as you book. See Booking a sales or lettings appraisal.
You can't assign an enquiry to someone else, or turn it into a buyer, seller or viewing, from the enquiry itself. Do this in Loop.
Closing an enquiry
When you've dealt with an enquiry:
- Tap Close.
- You'll see Closing this enquiry will remove it from your open list. Tap Close to confirm.
- You'll see Enquiry closed successfully!
To see closed enquiries again, choose Closed under Status in Filters.
You can't re-open an enquiry in Pocket. To re-open one, open it in Loop and use Re-Open Enquiry.
