Overview
Loop’s user permission settings allow administrators to control access levels across their teams by creating customized permission Profiles and assigning them to Users.
Note: This initial rollout focuses on Accounting permissions. Additional permission controls across other areas of Loop will be released in future updates.
Key Concepts
Profiles: Customized roles with specific access levels and visibility rules.
Users: Team members who are assigned to a designated Profile.
How to Set Up User Permissions
Step 1: Navigate to Permission Settings
Click on your Name in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
Select Settings from the drop-down menu.
Scroll down the left sidebar and click on Permissions.
Step 2: Create and Customize a Profile
Select the Profiles tab.
Click Create Profile (or select an existing profile to edit).
Enter a Profile Name that reflects the role (e.g., Accounting Associate).
Toggle or edit the specific permissions you want users in this profile to have access to.
Save your changes.
Step 3: Assign Users to a Profile
Select the Users tab.
Locate the team member you wish to update.
Assign them to the desired Profile from the available drop-down options.
Save your changes.
