This article guides you through linking your email account to Loop to automatically sync correspondence with your buyers and sellers into the Notes and Activity feed.
1. Linking Your Email Account
To enable email sync, you must first connect your email account in your user settings.
Navigate to your Settings.
Go to User Settings.
Select Connected Account.
Click Add Account.
Choose the type of account:
Single Account (Your personal email).
Shared Mailbox (e.g., info@, lettings@, or sales@).
2. Configuring Sync Options
When adding the account, you must configure your sync preferences:
| Option | Description |
| Calendar Sync | Select this if you wish to sync your calendar. |
| Emails to Notes and Activity | Select this to automatically pull email conversations (back and forth) with buyers and sellers into the corresponding notes. |
| Sharing Preference | Choose whether the synced emails should be: |
| * Shared with everybody | |
| * Private to myself |
3. Authorizing the Connection
After configuring the settings, you must authorize the connection with your email provider:
Click Save.
You will be redirected to an external website (e.g., Outlook) to log in to your email account.
Review the permissions requested by Loop.
Agree to the permissions to establish the two-way sync.
? Note: If you are using a work account, your IT company may need to grant permission for the integration.
4. Using the Email Sync
Once your account is connected, any emails you send or receive from a contact (buyer or seller) in Loop will automatically sync.
All correspondence will appear in the Notes and Activity section of the relevant:
Buyer/Seller record.
Property record.
The synced emails will be grouped under a new Email section within the Notes and Activity feed.
This includes both ad hoc emails you send and the replies you receive.
