Two-Way Diary Sync

You can sync your Google Workspace or Microsoft Office 365 calendar with your Loop calendar by following these steps: 

• Go to your Settings which can be accessed via the Avatar icon in the top right hand corner of Loop, and then click the User Settings option
• Find 'Connected accounts' and click 'Add New'
• You'll now get directed through the Nylas authentication, the third-party that hooks up the sync. Enter your (Office365 or Gmail) email address, press sign in and follow the login steps:

• Press allow to grant access

• You'll now be re-directed back to Loop.
• Tick the box in the synchronise events column that corresponds with the calendar you'd like to sync (you may need to refresh your page to see all the options below).

• Press save (note - this may take 30 seconds to a minute to save)
• Now simply wait for the sync to load - this can take up to 24 hrs

On some browsers you may need to verify the third party connection. To do this, click 'advanced' and click 'go to Nylas'.

Authenticating using Google Workspace Accounts

The diary sync works best and more reliably with Google, but you need a Google Workspace account for this to work, and you may also need to add Loop as a trusted application.

Authenticating using Office 365 Accounts

For Office 365 accounts, you also need to add Loop as a trusted application.

On point 3 of the above article, please make sure to check the final tickbox (i.e. 'Allow user consent for apps').
