Loop Software Release Update - February 28th

Introduction Welcome to the latest update from the Loop Software Training Team. This knowledge base article outlines all the new features and updates included in our latest release on Friday, February 28th. This document provides detailed information on enhancements and changes.

New Features & Enhancements

1. On-Market Properties in the Marketing Tab

• Users can now add external properties links to their marketing tab.
• This includes options such as adding a home buyer's report or listing an external property on a webpage.

2. Completion Anniversaries Widget

• View properties sold and their completion anniversaries.
• Accessible via the lobby widget by clicking the top-right plus button.
• The "View All" section allows users to send an anniversary email.
• Ensure email consent is granted before sending personalized emails.
• A pre-configured completion anniversary email template is available under Buyer Templates.

3. Pre-Market Checklists for Sales & Lettings

• A new pre-market checklist feature has been introduced for both sales and lettings.
• Available as a lobby widget under "Pre-Market Checklist."
• Automatically generates a to-do list for new properties before launching them on the market.
• Items include property information questionnaires, signed contracts, and viewing arrangements.
• Users can mark tasks as complete or in progress and add notes.
• Customizable settings available under "Pre-Market Property" settings.

4. Buyer Files and Market Listings Update

• Improved prospecting software functionality.
• When entering a buyer's address, Loop will retain the market listing data instead of removing it after saving.

5. Rent & Legal Protection Flag in Lettings

• Users can now flag a tenancy that includes rent and legal protection.
• Located in the "Deposit Scheme" section of the tenancy details.
• Once flagged, it will appear on the tenancy grid for easy tracking.

6. Customizable Deposit Schemes

• Users can now add their own deposit schemes, such as zero deposit options.
• Existing deposit schemes will be migrated automatically.
• Custom schemes can be added under "Deposit Schemes" in the settings.

Additional Enhancements & Fixes

1. Landlord Search When Adding a New Appraisal

• Users can now search for an existing landlord in Loop when adding a new appraisal.
• Prevents the creation of duplicate landlord entries.
• An "Add New" button is available for adding new landlords if needed.

2. New Certificate Type - Boiler Service

• A new certificate type has been added under "Letting Certificates."
• Covers boiler services and air source heat pumps.
• Available from Friday.

3. Bug Fixes & Performance Improvements

• Overdue inspections quick list now updates correctly.
• Diary inspections now provide enhanced tenant contact details and key number information on hover.
• Re formatting of the address fields on a property to be clearer
