This week, Loop is releasing a highly anticipated new feature designed to streamline seller communication: Planned Seller Contact. This update also includes several user interface improvements to enhance overall efficiency.
Planned Seller Contact Widget
A new widget on your home screen, "Planned Contact," allows you to track all upcoming and overdue seller contacts.
How to add the widget:
- Click the "plus" button in the top right-hand corner of your home screen.
- Select and add the "Planned Contact" widget.
This widget will display a comprehensive overview of your scheduled and overdue seller interactions.
Managing Seller Contact on Property Screens
Significant updates have been made to the property screens to integrate the new seller contact functionality.
New UI Elements on Property Screens (Pre-market, On the Market, Under Offer):
- Seller Contact Button: A dedicated button to access seller contact information and scheduling.
- "Send" Dropdown: Replaces previous send options, consolidating "sending property details," "texts," and "emails."
- "Manage" Dropdown: Replaces the three-dot menu, including options like "transfer responsibility," "duplicating," "adding offers," and "withdrawing."
- Quick Buttons:
- Preview button replaced with an icon.
- Add Note button replaced with an icon.
These changes aim to make the interface faster, more intuitive, and reduce the number of clicks required for common actions.
Scheduling Your First Seller Contact:
Navigate to the property screen and click the "Seller Contact" button. This will take you to the seller's dedicated page.
On the right-hand side, you will find the seller contact information section.
To book your first contact:
- Select a date and optionally a time.
- You can set it as an "all-day task" and choose whether you need a reminder.
- Assign the contact to yourself or other team members.
- Click "Save to Diary."
Example: When launching a property, you might schedule the first seller contact for two weeks later.
Actioning and Rescheduling Seller Contact
The "Planned Contact" widget on your lobby screen will highlight overdue contacts.
To update and reschedule an overdue contact:
- From the widget, click on an overdue contact to go to its seller contact page.
- Update the notes with details of your discussion (e.g., "Spoken. Wants to wait for a price reduction.").
- You can save the note if you need to follow up later (e.g., "Left message for call back").
- Once the contact is complete and you want to mark it as done, click "Mark as Done."
- A pop-up will appear asking for the next contact date. It defaults to two weeks, but you can adjust it to a week or specify an exact date.
- Click "Save to Diary."
This action will:
- Mark the previous contact as complete.
- Save the associated notes.
- Book in the next scheduled call.
- You can expand past entries to review previous notes.
Other Updates
Lettings - Tenancy Grids:
- Active Guarantor Option: A new option has been added to the tenancy grids to indicate if a tenant has an active guarantor. This can also be filtered.
- Active Tenancy in Renters Grid: The renters grid now displays whether a renter is in an active tenancy. This is particularly useful for targeted communications, such as sending information about damp in colder months to all active renters.
