This guide walks you through the process of ensuring that a property is correctly flagged as a "New Build" in Loop Software and on external portals (and possibly your website). This is important for marketing and visibility purposes.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. **When Adding or Preparing a Property**
- Whether the property is being prepared for pre-market or is already live, you need to ensure it is flagged as a new build. This is essential for it to appear correctly on property portals and your website.
2. **Edit Property Details**
- Go to **Edit Details** for the property in question.
- Locate the **Property Age** section.
3. **Select "New Build"**
- By default, the property age is set to "Unspecified."
- To mark it as a new build, change the property age to **New Build**.
- Make sure to click **Save** to apply the changes.
4. **Marketing Flags (For Some Users)**
- If your website uses marketing flags to highlight new build properties, you can also set the flag here.
- Navigate to the **Marketing** tab within the property details.
- Click on **Edit Details** and check the **New Build** option.
5. **Correcting Mistakes**
- If the property has already been launched without the "New Build" flag, don’t worry. After you change the setting, a pop-up will appear.
- Select **Yes** in the pop-up to push the update to property portals.
