Overview
There are times when you need to market a property privately without launching it to public portals or your website. Loop allows you to flag properties for Discrete Marketing, ensuring they remain hidden from public channels while allowing you to track and filter them internally.
This article guides you through flagging a property for discrete marketing, understanding its impact, and filtering your property lists.
How to Enable Discrete Marketing
Follow these steps to mark a property as discrete:
Navigate to the property's Residential Sales Profile.
Click Edit Details.
Locate and toggle the Discrete Marketing flag/button.
Save your changes.
⚠️ Important Note: If the property is already live, enabling this flag will automatically remove it from all portals. If applied prior to launch, it will prevent it from being published in the first place.
What Happens When a Property is Discrete?
Once a property is flagged for discrete marketing, Loop automatically restricts its visibility across your marketing channels:
Property Portals: The property will be pulled down or prevented from uploading to all portals (e.g., Rightmove, Zoopla).
Company Website: It will not be listed on your public website.
Property Matching: The property will be excluded from automated buyer matching.
Marketing Tab Status: Checking the property's Marketing tab will show its status as "Not Listed" across all platforms.
Filtering for Discrete Properties
To manage your off-market and private listings, you can easily filter them within your main dashboard:
Go to your On-Market Properties list.
Use the Filters menu at the top of the page.
Select the Discrete filter to view only your discrete listings, or use it to hide discrete properties from your main view.
