Properties missing from matches

Modified on Wed, 8 May at 4:37 PM

Introduction:

Property matching in Loop is a powerful feature that facilitates the connection between properties and potential buyers or renters.

However, there are instances where you may need to manage that property to exclude a property from matching for quiet marketing reasons or if you have a property that isn't coming up in a match.

This article explores how to manage property matching settings and addresses common issues encountered in the process.

1. Accessing Property Matching Settings:

Navigate to the matching tab within the Loop property file to access property matching settings.

Locate the toggle switch that allows you to include or exclude a property from matching.

2. Excluding Properties from Matching:

If you wish to exclude a property from matching, simply toggle the switch to exclude it.

This feature is useful for properties that are on quiet marketing or for those you want to keep on your books without actively promoting them to potential buyers or renters.

3. Troubleshooting Property Matching Issues:

Sometimes, properties may not appear in matches despite meeting the criteria. This can occur if the matching option has been mistakenly unticked.

If a property is missing from matches, check the property's matching settings to ensure it is included. Common scenarios where this issue arises include registering a new property or updating property details.

4. Resolving Property Matching Issues:

If you encounter property matching issues, the first step is to review the matching settings of the affected property.

If the property was mistakenly excluded from matching, toggle the switch to include it. After making adjustments, rerun the match to ensure the property is now included in the results.

5. Importance of Property Matching Settings:

Accurate property matching is crucial for connecting properties with potential buyers or renters effectively.

Proper management of matching settings ensures that all relevant properties are considered in the matching process, maximizing opportunities for successful matches.
