How to Add and Remove Property Chains in Loop

Introduction 

This guide will explain how to add and remove property chains in Loop Software, particularly useful when managing linked properties in sales progression.

Steps to Manage Property Chains

1. **Access Sales Progression**

   - Navigate to the **Sales Progression** section located on the left-hand side of the interface.

2. **Review Existing Chains**

   - For example, property **14 Crescent Road** may be linked to **5 Gladstone Mews**. However, if the property was manually linked instead of properly linked to the chain, it won’t appear when trying to link it through other properties.

   - This happens because a chain may already exist, making it unavailable for further linking.

3. **Remove a Property from a Chain**

   - If a property, like **5 Gladstone Mews**, was mistakenly added to a chain, it must first be removed before linking it correctly.

   - If there are any important notes associated with the property, go to the **View Notes** section, copy those notes, and save them to ensure you don’t lose any information when removing the chain.

4. **Link the Property Correctly**

   - After removing the incorrect chain, you can now go to **14 Crescent Road** and link the property properly.

   - Remove any manual links created previously by selecting them and deleting them.

   - Once the incorrect links are cleared, you will be able to create the correct chain by selecting the appropriate property and clicking **Create**.

5. **Sharing Notes**

   - When the chain is properly linked, the system will allow you to share the notes across the properties involved in the chain.
