How to Take a Property Down from the Market

Modified on Fri, 9 Aug at 11:50 AM

Overview

This guide will walk you through the process of taking a property off the market or removing it from the portals while keeping it available within the system. This functionality is useful for both sales and lettings.

Withdrawing a Sales Property

1. **Withdraw the Property**:

   - If you want to fully withdraw a sales property from the market, click on the **Withdraw** button at the top of the property record.

   - You will have options to cancel upcoming viewings and other related activities.

2. **Removing from Portals but Keeping Available**:

   - If you want to keep the property available but remove it from listing portals, navigate to the **Marketing** tab.

   - Here, you can see where the property is currently listed (e.g., your website, Rightmove, Zoopla).

   - Change the status to **Not Listed** for the portals you want to remove it from. This action will remove the property from those portals but keep it available within the system.

Withdrawing a Lettings Property

1. **Withdraw the Property**:

   - Similar to sales properties, you can withdraw a lettings property by clicking on the **Withdraw** button and adjusting the relevant settings in the **Marketing** tab.

2. **Mark as Let Agreed**:

   - If you have received too many applications and have decided on one, you can quickly mark the property as **Let Agreed**.

   - Click the **Mark as Let Agreed** button to change the status. This allows you to process all the applications and complete necessary tasks at your convenience.
