Property Hub: Empowering Your Sellers with Real-Time Updates

Modified on Wed, 25 Jun at 1:10 PM

Property Hub, a free feature within your Loop account, provides a dedicated portal for your vendors, landlords, and tenants to track the progress of their properties. This article focuses specifically on how Property Hub benefits sellers, offering them a transparent view of their property's journey.

Enabling Property Hub for Sellers

Before your sellers can access Property Hub, you need to enable it within your Loop settings. This allows you to set the default level of information shared with vendors. Remember, these are just defaults; you can always adjust settings for individual properties.

Setting Up Your Default Preferences:

  1. Navigate to Settings in your Loop account.

  2. Scroll down to Property Hub settings.

  3. Enable Property Hub.

  4. Within these settings, you can define the default information you want to share, including:

    • Marketing Information: Where the property is published, the number of inquiries, and Rightmove statistics.

    • Viewings: Upcoming, unconfirmed, and past viewings, including the option to share feedback from the buyer feedback box.

    • Offers: Details of any offers received.

    • Sales Progression: Milestones and notes related to the sales process.

    • Document Section: Exercise caution when enabling this section to prevent accidental sharing of sensitive documents.

While you set your defaults here, you have the flexibility to toggle these options on or off for each individual property as needed.

Inviting a Seller to Property Hub

You can invite your sellers to Property Hub at various stages of the property journey: pre-market, on the market, or under offer.

  1. Go to the specific property within Loop.

  2. Navigate to the Property Hub tab.

  3. Toggle the "Share with Seller" option to enable access.

If it's their first time using Property Hub, your seller will receive an email invitation prompting them to create a password for their portal login.

What Sellers See in Property Hub

Once logged in, sellers can view all properties they have listed with you. For example, if a seller has multiple properties, they'll see a clear overview of each.

Property Status and Updates

Sellers can track the status of their property, whether it's "preparing for market" or "on the market." As you update information in Loop (e.g., adding photos), these changes are automatically reflected in the seller's Property Hub.

Detailed Property Information

For properties on the market, sellers can see comprehensive details:

  • Marketing: Where the property is advertised (Rightmove, Zoopla, your website) and the number of inquiries. Rightmove statistics will be available after 24 hours of being live.

  • Viewings:

    • Unconfirmed Viewings: Viewings that still need to be confirmed.

    • Upcoming Viewings: Scheduled viewings, including whether they are accompanied.

    • Past Viewings: A record of completed viewings, including any feedback you've entered (e.g., if a buyer was "uninterested").

  • Offers: Information about any offers received.

  • Sales Progression: As you tick off milestones in Loop's sales chain, your sellers can see the progress. Any notes you add to the sales chain (not all notes and activity) will also be visible. If there's a chain link below, sellers can see updates on that as well.

Mobile App Accessibility

Property Hub is fully optimized for mobile devices, allowing sellers to easily check on their property's progress on the go through the mobile app. The interface is user-friendly and provides the same detailed information as the web portal.
