This article explains how to send confirmation emails and text message reminders when booking a property viewing using the Loop system.
Booking a Viewing:
- When booking a viewing, you will specify details such as whether it's accompanied or unaccompanied, the property, the buyer's details, and the desired date and time.
- Clicking the "Submit" button pencils the viewing into your diary. At this stage, no confirmation emails have been sent.
- In your diary, an unconfirmed viewing will have a white background.
Confirming the Viewing and Sending Notifications:
- To send confirmation emails and text messages, you need to confirm the viewing with the relevant parties: the buyer, the seller, and the agent who will be attending the viewing.
- To confirm, click on the checkboxes with "buyer," "seller," and "agent."
- Only once all three (buyer, seller, and agent) are marked as confirmed will Loop automatically send out your confirmation emails.
Notification Options:
When confirming a viewing, Loop offers the following notification options:
- Confirmation emails: Sent to the buyer, the seller, and the attending agent.
- Text message reminders (if enabled): These are sent one hour before the scheduled appointment time.
Sending the Confirmations:
- Once you have selected the relevant confirmation options (buyer, seller, and agent), click the "Confirm" button.
- This action will trigger Loop to send out the confirmation emails and any applicable text message reminders.
