This guide will walk you through the process of manually adding your property data into Loop, preparing you for going live or switching to our platform.
Introduction: Getting Started
Whether you're migrating from another system or starting fresh, this is your go-to guide for inputting your property details.
Key Objectives:
- Accurately transfer your "on-market" properties.
- Correctly record your "under-offer" properties.
Step 1: Initiating Property Entry
- Log in to Loop: You'll land on your lobby screen.
- Locate "Add Appraisal": Find and click the "Add Appraisal" button at the top of your screen.
- Choose "Direct Instruction": Since you're dealing with existing properties, select "Direct Instruction." This bypasses the standard appraisal stage.
Step 2: Inputting Property Details
- Postcode Entry:
- Enter the property's postcode.
- If the address isn't found, click "Add Manually" to input it directly.
- Property Information:
- Fill in the number of bedrooms, bathrooms, and reception rooms.
- Complete as many fields as possible; starred fields are mandatory.
- Seller/Vendor Details:
- Enter the seller's contact information.
- Double-check for existing entries to avoid duplicates.
- Use "Add Another" for multiple sellers.
- If the seller is a company or trust, enter the contact person above, and the company name in the display name field.
- Pricing and Fees:
- Input the property price.
- Optionally, add a low/high price guide and a price qualifier (e.g., "offers in excess of").
- Enter your fee information.
- Agent and Team Assignment:
- Select the responsible agent.
- If applicable, choose the correct team or office.
- Proceed: Click the "Proceed" button to save the property and move to the next stage.
Step 3: Completing Pre-Market Details
- Address Mandatory Fields:
- Loop will highlight mandatory fields with exclamation marks.
- Complete the summary description, full description, property composition, photo uploads, price, and AML checks.
- Media and Text:
- Navigate to the "Media and Text" page.
- Upload property images, floor plans, EPCs, and brochures.
- Enter summary and full descriptions, and bullet points.
- On-Market Status:
- Once all details are entered, click "Put on Market."
- The property will then move to your "On-Market" stock.
Step 4: Adding Offers
- Adding a Buyer:
- Click "Add Offer" on the property or the "Add Offer" button at the top of the screen.
- If the buyer is not already in the system, select "Add a new".
- Enter the buyer's first name, surname, contact number, email address, and address.
- Optionally, add buyer requirments and proceed ability.
- Linking Offer to Property:
- If you started from the property, it will be linked automatically.
- Otherwise, search for the property using the "Add Offer" button.
- Offer Details:
- Specify any included fixtures and fittings.
- Click "Proceed."
- Accepting the Offer:
- In the offer screen, click "Accept Offer" to finalize the offer.
