Your Internet Connection

Loop runs well on a standard broadband connection (8Mb/s).  Faster connections provide a better experience because you'll be able to navigate quicker and Loop will load screens faster.  Our advice is to get the fastest internet connection available in your area.

Loop runs well on a strong (<50% strength) 4G connection.  Slower speeds and poor signal strength are a unfortunate reality of 'the real world'; so use WiFi where possible.

There are some functions in Loop, such as uploading photos, that require a fast 'uplink' connection.  Conventional use of Loop uses 'downlink' which is generally 8-10 times faster than the 'uplink'.  Bear this in mind when you are 'saving' photos or files to Loop - it can take anything from a few seconds to a minute or two.  Watch the loader and be patient!
