We recommend the following technology to run an optimised Loop experience.
Workstation
- Intel Core i5 Processor with 4 cores, 8 threads, 3.30Ghz
- 8Gb RAM (ideally 16Gb RAM)
- 512Gb Hard Disk (ideal is Solid-State-Drive)
- Dedicated graphics card, or one that can support 1080p resolutions
- 24" widescreen monitor, running a minimum resolution of 1280 x 1024
- Webcam & sound for the occasional video call with Loop support where needed (this is not a requirement, merely a suggestion)
Internet Speed
- At least 30Mb down and 5Mb up (for up to 4 users)
- At least 50Mb down and 10Mb up (for up to 8 users)
- At least 70Mb down and 15Mb up (for up to 12 user)
- Upload speed is less important than download speed
Other internet services such as VoIP, Exchange Server, Dropbox and media services such as radio/video streaming all consume bandwidth which can degrade the performance of the Loop application. Either separate the internet connection and provide a dedicated line for Loop, or prioritise bandwidth to the https://app.loop.software domain.
