How to Use the Property Preview Button

Hi everybody, Alex from the Loop Software team here. This guide will explain how to use the property preview button to speed up the process of brochure and advert approval from your vendors or landlords. This feature works the same way for both sales and lettings properties.

Steps to Use the Property Preview Button

Preparing the Property

1. **Navigate to the Pre-Market Property**:

   - Open the property record that you are currently preparing. Ensure you are in the pre-market phase where you are adding photos, writing descriptions, and including all necessary information.

2. **Add Information**:

   - Complete the media and text page by adding photos, descriptions, features, floor plans, and other relevant details.

Using the Preview Button

3. **Click the Preview Button**:

   - At the top of the property record page, click on the **Preview** button. This action will generate a unique URL and webpage displaying the property information.

4. **View the Preview**:

   - The preview will show all the property details, including descriptions, features, and floor plans.

5. **Switch to Rightmove, Zoopla or On The Market View**:

   - In the top right-hand corner of the preview page, you can switch the view to mimic how the property will appear on Rightmove or Zoopla. This is useful to see the property as it will appear on these platforms before it goes live.

Sharing the Preview

6. **Copy and Share the URL**:

   - Copy the unique URL from the top of the preview page.

   - Send this link to your vendors or landlords for their review. You can inform them that this is a preview of how the property will appear on Rightmove or Zoopla.

7. **Vendor/Landlord Approval**:

   - Ask your vendors or landlords to review the property details, features, descriptions, and brochures. They can download brochures directly from the preview page.

Making Updates

8. **Live Updates**:

   - The preview page is a live website. Any changes you make in Loop will update instantly on the preview page.

   - For example, if the vendor wants a different photo as the main image, simply adjust the photo order in Loop.

9. **Refreshing the Preview**:

   - Inform your vendors or landlords that they can see the updated information by refreshing the preview link. There is no need to resend the link as it updates live.

Tips for Using the Preview Tool

- **Live Review**: You can have a live review session with your vendors or landlords over the phone while they refresh the preview page to see changes in real-time.

- **Streamlined Approval**: This tool helps streamline the approval process, saving time and reducing back-and-forth communication.
