Introduction
This guide provides a step-by-step walkthrough on how to effectively use the Canvassing feature in Loop's prospecting software to distribute marketing materials such as leaflets and postcards.
Accessing the Canvassing Feature
- Navigate to the left-hand side menu and click on Prospecting.
- Select Canvassing, located at the bottom of the prospecting options.
Canvassing Overview
The Canvassing feature allows you to:
- Send marketing materials like "Just Sold" or "New Listing" leaflets to targeted areas.
- Choose from pre-designed templates for various marketing campaigns.
- Customize leaflets and send them directly to print and post.
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Choose a Location to Canvass
- On the Canvassing page, enter the postcode of the area you'd like to target.
- Alternatively, access the canvassing tool directly from a sold property by clicking the Canvassing button at the top of the property page.
Step 2: Refine Your Target Audience
- Set filters to narrow down the recipient list:
- Radius: Define how far from the sold property you want to canvass.
- Sold Date: Filter by how recently properties were sold (e.g., within the last two years).
- Click Search to generate a list of addresses.
- If the list is too large, deselect all and manually select specific properties or further adjust filters.
Note: Ensure you have enough credits to use this feature. Contact support at [email protected] to purchase more credits if needed.
Step 3: Select a Template
- Click Next to choose a template:
- New Instruction
- Just Sold in Your Road
- Browse the available templates and select the one that best fits your campaign.
Step 4: Customize Your Leaflet
- Edit the front and backof the leaflet:
- Swap out property images (if linked from a sold property, images will be auto-filled).
- Edit customizable text fields with personalized messages.
- Some design elements are fixed due to printing requirements, but key sections remain editable.
Step 5: Review and Confirm
- Scroll to the bottom of the customization page and click Next.
- Review your leaflet design for accuracy.
- Click Confirm to send your design to print.
Step 6: Printing and Delivery
- Once confirmed, the leaflet is sent to Loop's partnered printers.
- Leaflets are sent via second-class post.
- Printing and delivery typically take a few days.
