This guide explains how to embed images into ad hoc emails using Loop, a question commonly raised in support queries.

Steps to Add Images to Ad Hoc Emails

1. Access the Ad Hoc Email Editor

  • Navigate to the ad hoc email editor in Loop.

2. Locate the Image Insertion Option

  • In the editor, find the Insert menu and select the Insert Image option.

3. Obtain an Image URL

To insert an image, you need its URL. Loop uses URLs to embed images.

Use Imgur to Generate a URL:

  1. Visit Imgur.com (no sign-in required).
  2. Click New Post.
  3. Drag and drop your image or upload it from your files.
  4. Once the upload is complete, Imgur provides an image link. Copy this link.

4. Add the Image URL to the Email

  1. Go back to the ad hoc email editor.
  2. Paste the copied link into the Source field of the Insert Image dialog.
  3. Important: Ensure the URL ends with .jpg to confirm it's an image file.

5. Save the Image

  • After pasting the URL, Loop will automatically set a default width and height for the image.
  • Click Save to finalize the insertion.

Your image will now appear in the email, ready for sending.
