Prerequisites:

  • Ensure the "Out of Area Seller" widget is added to your lobby screen.
  • Verify your referral network settings (bio, referral fee, radius) are correctly configured in your settings.

Steps:

1. Identifying Out-of-Area Sellers:

  • The "Out of Area Seller" widget on your lobby screen will display potential sellers outside your referral radius.
  • When you have a buyer that would be an out of area seller, you'll see the closest three agents.

2. Sending a Referral:

  • Locate the "Send Referral" button next to the agent you wish to refer the seller to.
  • Click "Send Referral."
  • Confirm the details in the pop-up window.
  • Click "Send Referral" again.
  • A confirmation message will appear, indicating the referral has been successfully sent.

3. Claiming a Referral (Receiving Agent):

  • The receiving agent (e.g., Scott) will find the referral in their "Inquiries" section under "Seller."
  • It is crucial for the receiving agent to click into the inquiry and click "Claim."
  • A message will confirm that the inquiry has been successfully claimed.

4. Tracking Referral Progress (Referring Agent):

  • The referring agent (e.g., Jane) can track the referral's progress in the "Network Referrals" section at the bottom of the left-hand menu in Loop.
  • This section displays major milestones, allowing the referring agent to monitor the receiving agent's actions.

5. Receiving Agent Updates (Example):

  • The receiving agent will book an appraisal for the referred seller.
  • They will enter the relevant details, including dates and times, and confirm the booking.
  • Once the appraisal has been booked, the referring agent can see that this milestone has been completed.

6. Monitoring Milestones:

  • The referring agent can see the progress of the referral through all the milestones.
  • The system displays the date and time of each action taken by the receiving agent.
