Uploading Videos to Your eXp Microsite

Article Purpose: This article explains how to upload videos to the Video Vault on your eXp microsite. The Video Vault allows you to showcase video content like property tips, advice, or walkthroughs.

Where Videos Appear:

• Video Vault Page: A dedicated page displaying all uploaded videos.
• Video Block: A block that can be added to any content page to showcase the latest videos (e.g., the latest three videos).

Key Video Elements:

To effectively showcase your videos, ensure you include these elements:

• Image Thumbnail: A visually appealing image representing the video.
• Video Title: A clear and descriptive title for the video.
• Brief Description: A short summary of the video's content.
• Video URL: The full YouTube or Vimeo URL of the video.

Steps to Upload a New Video:

1. Access WordPress Dashboard:

   • Log in to your WordPress dashboard for your eXp microsite.

2. Navigate to Video Vault:

   • In the left-hand menu, find and click on "Video Vault."

3. View Existing Videos:

   • You will see a list of previously uploaded videos.

4. Add New Video:

   • Click the "Add New Video" button at the top of the page.

5. Enter Video Details:

   • Video Title: Enter the title of the video.
   • Brief Description: Add a brief description of the video's content.
   • Video URL:
     • Obtain the full YouTube or Vimeo URL of the video.
     • Copy the URL from the address bar of your browser.
     • Paste the full URL into the "Video URL" box in the video editor.
   • Featured Image:
     • This is the image thumbnail for the video.
     • Click "Set featured image."
     • Media Library:
       • Choose an existing image from your media library.
       • Upload New Image:
         • Click "Upload files."
         • Select an image file from your computer or drag and drop an image.
     • Click "Set featured image" to assign the selected image as the thumbnail.

6. Publish Video:

   • Publish Immediately: Click the "Publish" button at the top of the page.
   • Schedule Publication: Set a future date and time for publication using the date and time options.

7. Confirm Publication:

   • Click the "Publish" button again to confirm.

8. Verify Video:

   • Go to your microsite's Video Vault page and any page featuring the video block to check that the new video is displayed correctly.
