Adding an "Areas I Cover" page to your eXp microsite

Modified on Thu, 8 Oct at 9:44 AM

Summary: You can show the areas you cover on your microsite either as a single page or as a menu heading with a separate page for each area. You create the pages, and our support team adds them to your menu for you.

Which option should I choose?

  • One page. Best if you cover a few areas and want a simple list or short description of each.
  • A page for each area. Best if you cover several areas and want to say more about each one, such as local schools, transport links or recent sales. Separate pages can also help people find you when they search for a particular location.

If you're not sure, start with one page. You can split it into separate pages later.

Option 1: One "Areas I Cover" page

  1. Log in to your microsite admin.
  2. Go to Pages > Add New.
  3. Give the page the title Areas I Cover.
  4. Add your content. For example, list each town or village you cover with a sentence or two about it.
  5. Click Publish to create the page.
  6. Email support@loop.software and ask for your Areas I Cover page to be added to your menu.

If you make changes to the page later, click Save to update it.

Option 2: A page for each area

  1. Log in to your microsite admin.
  2. Go to Pages > Add New.
  3. Create a page for each area, e.g. "Chelmsford" or "Maldon", and add your content for that area.
  4. Click Publish on each page.
  5. Email support@loop.software with the names of the pages you'd like to appear under Areas I Cover.

We'll create an Areas I Cover heading in your menu and put your area pages underneath it.

Why can't I change the menu myself?

Your microsite menu can only be edited by an administrator. This stops it from being changed or broken by accident. Our support team will make any menu changes for you.

Tips for your area pages

  • Write about the area in your own words: what it's like to live there, popular streets, schools and transport links.
  • Mention the town or village name in the page title and the first paragraph.
  • Add a photo of the area. Use one you've taken yourself or have permission to use.
  • Keep it up to date. If you stop covering an area, email support and we'll remove it from your menu.
