Creating and Using Custom Brochure Templates

Modified on Thu, 4 Sep at 2:49 PM

Create and save custom templates for your brochures and window cards in Loop to save time and maintain brand consistency across all your property listings. This article will show you how to add custom images and text to your templates.

Step 1: Add Custom Text

You can add custom text, like disclaimers or opening hours, that you'll use frequently across all your brochures.

  1. Navigate to Settings.

  2. Select the Brochures and Window Card Template Creator.

  3. Click Add New to add a new custom text item.

  4. Enter your text (e.g., "Disclaimer" or "Opening Hours") and save it.

Once saved, these text items will be available to add to any brochure or window card template you create. You can edit them at any time if needed.

Step 2: Create a Brochure Template

After adding your custom text, you'll create a new template and add your custom content.

  1. Go to the Brochure Templates section.

  2. Click Create a Brochure.

  3. Enter a description for your template (e.g., "Sales - Landscape").

  4. Start designing your brochure by adding pages and content blocks.

Step 3: Add Custom Images

You can upload custom images like your company logo, awards, or photos of your team. Once uploaded, these images are saved in your account for future use.

  1. On any page of your template, click Add Custom Image.

  2. Upload an image file from your computer.

  3. The image will appear on the page, and you can then resize and move it to your desired location.

For example, you might place your company logo in the top corner of the first page or add a recent award in the bottom corner.

Step 4: Insert Custom Text

Now you can add the custom text items you created in Step 1 to your template.

  1. Select a page where you want to add text, like a page with a floor plan.

  2. Click Add Custom Text.

  3. Choose one of the saved custom text items (e.g., your floor plan disclaimer) from the list.

  4. The text will appear on the page, and you can resize or move the text box as needed.

You can also manually type and add text directly into the template without saving it as a custom item first.

Step 5: Save and Use Your Template

Once you have added all your custom content and designed your template, you can save it.

  1. Click Save.

  2. The template will be saved and can be used to generate brochures for any property.

When you're ready to create a brochure for a specific property, go to the property's Media and Text section, select the template you just created, and the system will automatically generate a brochure with all your custom images, text, and the property's photos and details. You can still make final edits, like reordering photos, before publishing the final brochure.
