Accessing the Document Tab

  1. Open the buyer record in Loop.
  2. Locate the Document tab on the right-hand side of the screen and click on it.

Selecting a Template

  1. Once inside the Document tab, a dropdown list will appear.
  2. This list contains all the document templates that have been saved in your CRM under Buyer Templates.
  3. Select the desired template. For this example, we are using the General Letter to Buyer.
  4. Click the Create button to generate the document.

Editing the Document

  1. The document editor will open, automatically filling in details from the buyer's record.
  2. The fields that are populated include:
    • Buyer’s name
    • Address
    • Today's date
    • Salutation
  3. You can edit the document as needed, including adding or modifying text.
  4. Once you have made the necessary changes, click Preview.

Previewing the Document

  1. Clicking Preview will generate a PDF preview which will download to your device..
  2. Open the PDF to review the document, which will also include your letterhead.
  3. If further changes are needed, close the preview tab and return to the editor to make modifications.

Choosing the Letterhead Option

  1. The default setting includes the letterhead in the document.
  2. If you prefer to generate the document without the letterhead, select None.
  3. For this example, we will retain the letterhead.

Saving the Document

  1. Click Save to add the document to the buyer’s record library.
  2. To access the saved document later, click the Download arrow.
  3. The document will open in a new tab as a PDF for review or further use.
