When the Loop sales team upsell an eXp agent to take out the Prospecting subscription, they will ask us to raise two invoices which the agent must pay before they can announce the deal.
These invoices are for:
- A set up fee, usually of £105 + VAT
- A pro-rata amount for the remainder of the subscription month. This will be calculated by the Sales Manager.
Both invoices are to be raised via Stripe.
In Stripe, go the Dashboard by signing in here - https://dashboard.stripe.com/login. The login credentials are located on the Service Logins tab of the Loop Studio Bible. Access is two factors authenticated, so you will need to enter the six digit code form the Google Authenticator App.
Click on Customers, and click Add Customer. Enter the agent name and email address.
In the customer record that you have just created, click Create Invoice.
Under Items, find and select the product called Loop Subscription Set Up Fee. Keep the Quantity as 1. Choose the appropriate figure from the Price dropdown. Under Item Options, select a sales tax rate of 20%. Click Save.
Under Payment collection, change the due date to today, and remove the Bacs Direct Debit payment option.
Click Review Invoice, and then opt to Send Invoice.
For the second invoice, follow the exact same steps as above, but when selecting the product, rather than select the Loop Subscription Set Up Fee, you would select the Loop Subscription for 'Month'. Keep the Quantity as 1. Choose the appropriate figure from the Price dropdown, or Add a New Price.
Once both invoices have been sent, you can simply close the support ticket. We will be notified from Stripe when both payments have been made, and that will act as the instruction for the Sales Manager to announce the new account.
